Spartan Launches New Leadership Program – SpartanX Leadership Forums

Business owners take note, Spartan recently announced SpartanX Leadership Forums. The new program is aimed to bring business leaders around the world together. The new program is set to take place at six stadium races this year with Spartan found Joe De Sena. The new program kicks off at the Citi Field Stadium Race on April 20, 2018.

Spartan, the world’s largest obstacle race, and endurance brand has launched the “SpartanX Leadership Forum” (SXLF), a series of events to inspire and empower business leaders and teams from around the world. Applying the age-old principles on which Spartan was founded, the series will bring business leaders together with Spartan’s Founder and CEO, Joe De Sena, in a fast-paced, engaging format to learn how to handle unforeseen obstacles, solve problems with wisdom and urgency, and maintain focus amid chaos and drama. The series unfolds at stadiums across the country, kicking off Friday, April 20 at Citi Field in Queens, New York.

“The obstacles we meet on the Spartan race course are metaphors for those we face in everyday life,” said De Sena. “Over the years, we’ve had hundreds of executives ask us how to bring the race experience to their business and the SpartanX Leadership Forum is our answer. We’ve transformed 5 million lives using the principals of the ancient Spartan’s and this series will translate the same principals to success in the workplace and life.”

At SXLF, participants collaborate to solve challenges alongside business leaders from leading companies, build lasting relationships, gather valuable insight, learn life-changing techniques from industry titans, overcome mental and physical obstacles, and sharpen leadership skills. The VIP experience will allow participants to collaborate with experts and connect and learn with business teams in their area. After motivational conversation and team activities, participants put their newly learned skills to the test, participating in Spartan obstacles designed specifically to help them in the corporate world.

Led by De Sena, the events will engage inspiring leaders with the enthusiasm of the interviews on his “Spartan Up” podcast and the added element of audience interaction, allowing attendees to join the conversation. In addition to founding Spartan, De Sena, a former Wall Street trader, is a two-time New York Times Best Selling author, host of the popular Spartan Up podcast and a noted adventure racer, having completed more than 50 ultra-events overall and 14 Ironman events in one year alone. Spartan has grown from one race in Vermont in 2010 to become a global company with more than 200 events across 30 countries, attracting one million participants annually, while also encompassing training and nutrition programs, and media properties.

Taking place the evening before Spartan events at America’s storied ballparks, the forums are scheduled for:
