Course Description:
MUD HAPPENS -- One Bad Mud Run is an approximately 3.1 mile race featuring muddy obstacles where you are guaranteed to slip, slide, and slosh their way to the finish.
Obstacles are man-made and natural (use of Drake's Creek, creek banks and in/out of wooded areas). Our race course is designed for ages 10 and up. Children ages 10-12 MUST be accompanied by a PAID adult participant.
A FREE kids course will also be available to children 9 and under. The course will consist of small obstacles and other activities.
Aid Stations:
Water stations will be available throughout the course
Prizes:
We will be awarding the FASTEST (Male/Female) in the Timed Heat and BEST COSTUME (Male/Female/Group).
Spectators:
Spectators are allowed at no charges
Parking:
FREE Parking will be in the field on the north side of Scottsville Road.
Other:
Funds from this event support child abuse prevention services in South Central Kentucky.
Registration will be available on race day starting at 6:30 a.m. for an increased fee (exact cash or check payments only on race day).
Team:
A team must contain at least 4 participants. Sign up as a team and get $5 discount per person
Kids Race:
The Kids' Muddy Challenge is a FREE event with small obstacles and activities for children under 9 years old.
The main course is designed for ages 10 and up; children 10-12 years of age MUST be accompanied by a PAID adult participant.
Parents should not leave children unattended at the Kids' Muddy Challenge and will be required to sign a waiver before children will be permitted to participate.
