Conquer the King Conquer the King is back for the 3rd installment and will feature a 10k Competitive Heat as well as 5k Open Heats. This race takes place at the permanent OCR training facility known as OCR King Compound in Dallas Georgia. The facility is ever growing and new obstacles are constantly being built so this race is never the same, yet it gets better with every event. Once dubbed as the "Toughest Mile In OCR" it has surely lived up to that title, but we still have friendly options for the new/beginner OCR competitors.

Course Description:

The King Compound is pleased to announce our 4th race of the Conquer the King race series, The Half Mile from Hell! Similar to our very first race this will be a short course time trial, but by no means will this be easy. At just less than a half mile long it will be obstacle dense with 16 obstacles. Think OCR meets Ninja Warrior. You will be able to have two attempts at running the course and we'll use your fastest time.

Aid Stations:

One aid station will be located at the start/finish, one mile transition. So runners will have the opportunity for hydration/nutrition every mile if needed.

Awards:

the top overall male and female will take home up to $500 each..that's not a typo!
We will also have amazing age group awards for the top male and female in each of the age group categories

Spectators:

Spectators are always FREE and have a great view of almost all obstacles. The majority of this course will be viewer friendly if you want to bring spectators.

Parking:

Parking is always FREE and is located within one mile of the venue, shuttles will be provided throughout the day.

Other:

Minimum age is 16 yrs old with the written consent of a guardian, you are not required to swim at this event.
Gear storage is always free and there will be areas to wash/change.
