Finger Lakes Mud Run The Finger Lakes Mud Run at Everest Park is a challenging, military-style trail run that’s intended to pit participants against one of THREE EXTREME COURSES. Yes, THREE! Each wave of participants joins a stampede of literally hundreds who’ll trudge through thick field grasses, over wooded underbrush, down and out of deep gullies, and ultimately face jaw-dropping obstacles––each designed to encourage teamwork and camaraderie.

The Finger Lakes Mud Run has THREE courses in 2014! Our first is the 5K short course, which is designed for those who’re looking for a fun challenge, but aren’t quite ready for the big time! Our second course is the 14K long course that explores over 750 acres of dense forest, sun-baked fields, and terrain that even scares the wildlife! Our third course, introduced in 2013, is the ever-popular Mini Muddy. This course lets kids ages 6-12 get completely covered in mud, just like the rest of the family!

The Finger Lakes Mud Run remains a volunteer-organized event that uses 100% of its net proceeds to extend the mission of Everest Park by offering a restful retreat for families of children who are experiencing life-altering health issues.

Course Description:

Finger Lakes Mud Run is an outdoor challenge course that takes place on the beautiful grounds of Everest Park, with 35 obstacles both man made and natural, that is roughly 4.5 to 5 miles long.

Parking:

Parking on Everest Park grounds is FREE. Please carpool if possible!

Post Party:

There will be a post race celebration with live music, included wine tastings, food to purchase, vendors to visit and lots of fun to be had.

Other:

Net profits from the Finger Lakes Mud Run are used to help sustain Champions for Life, which operates Everest Park and the Brian Bisgrove Home of Courage.

Team:

Ideal event for groups in need of some team-building exercises.

Kids Race:

Children aged 11 and older can participate in the full Mud Run course.
Children aged 5 through 11 will be able to participate on the Mini-Muddy, a significantly shorter, but still plenty muddy obstacle course for little ones who want to experience the fun of the mud!
