Green Beret Challenge We are introducing our endurance challenge to dozens of cities all over the nation while building relationships around the military and civilian communities. Our challenges provide a fun and safe atmosphere of competition that promotes fellowship and personal growth. Founded in 2012, by former Special Forces Operators, the GBC is an array of personal challenges to overcome by exhibiting strength, determination, physical endurance, problem solving and decision making. Challenge your mind, body and spirit along 8 demanding miles. Each course is uniquely developed and specifically built to incorporate some of the most challenging terrain each location has to offer The GBC consists of numerous events that will require the participant to push, pull, carry, climb or crawl their way to the finish line. Military style equipment, water, sand bags, telephone poles and various other obstacles combined with a creative race director are some of the highlights this 8 mile gauntlet offers up for its participants. The pain will be legendary, but the sense of accomplishment will last forever. As an individual and team, the greatest obstacle you will ever face is to accept the challenge! Forge on one step at a time, make it to the finish line and walk away with a symbol of excellence; a badge of courage, a mark of distinction!

Course Description:

The teams will be negotiating 8+ miles of rugged hill country terrain as they push, pull or carry all the provided equipment along the designated race course.

Aid Stations:

Regardless of venue, all GBC events will have at least 4 hydration stations, roving medics and a stationary aid station near the festival area. Fruit and water will be provided at the finishers tent.

Awards:

Top Teams in the following categories will receive custom awards:
- fastest all male team
- fastest all female team
- fastest co-ed team

Spectators:

No cost for spectators and they are welcome to roam the race course.

Parking:

Parking ranges $5-$10, per venue/per car.

Post Party:

GBC will have a DJ and food vendors at all locations. Every GBC hosts a free pre-race dinner location as well as a post race party at a local establishment in relative proximity to the venue. First round of beers at every post race party are bought by Mark personally! Don't miss the fun.

Other:

GBC supports Operation Enduring Warrior and it is not uncommon to see those guys at each of our races. GBC also supports the newly formed charity, Rally Point. RP supports the wounded warriors from its partner charities to assist them with any individual or family needs.

Team:

The Commando Challenges are 4 person team events. Registration is very straight forward.
