Race Start Time:
The Elite Heat will be the first group to attempt to conquer our course while it is fresh at 8:30a.m. (before the other registered mudders go through). This heat will have the option of choosing Individual obstacles on race day, e.g. instead of carrying a 16-foot telephone pole with other OCR athletes you will have the option to carry a tire individually, or our legendary14' American Ninja Warrior Warp Wall will have ropes for an individual to climb rather than using teamwork to conquer this obstacle. Our Elite Heat is designed for the competitive athletes who are looking to challenge themselves against the clock and their competition. This will be the only heat with penalties for failing or not completing an obstacle.

Organizer:ABF Mud Run The Most Challenging Fun You’ll Ever Have...
The ABF Mud Run is set up by a small handful of dedicated Mudders. Our courses are 4-6 miles of wooded trails, swamps, and creeks with 25+ unique military style obstacles. Some obstacles will require a group effort; however, you will find over 60 volunteers throughout the course on the race day, so if you should need assistance, we will be there to help support you. No matter if that is lending you a knee to step on in order to get over one of our 8’ military walls, a hand getting out one of the mud pits, or an extra shoulder carrying a 16’ telephone pole. This event is designed to push you out of your comfort zone and show you what you are truly capable of when you give it your all. Our volunteers and staff will help you in any way we can make it to the finish line. Step out of your comfort zone and register today!

The ABF Mud Run course is run of 4 to 6 miles with wooded trails, swamps and creeks along with 25+ unique military style obstacles.
We are South Jersey’s premier OCR/Mud Run; we now have our 4 mile PERMANENT, YEAR ROUND OCR course. Here, you will find yourself running through rough terrain in unmodified wooded trails, crawling through the swamps and wading through creeks. Along the way you'll climb, carry, push, pull, and jump your way through over 20 military style obstacles. Your race will end in an outdoor arena with seating for up to 3,500 people, plenty of room for family and friends.
We have over 50 qualified and interactive volunteers and staff throughout the course to provide direction when needed and lend a hand, knee, shoulder, encouragement or some motivation to help you make it to the finish line. We have a no-one left behind policy. This course was originally designed to complete with a team effort, however if you decide to run solo, an elite wave is available, where the obstacles are adjusted. By yourself or in a group - we are there to help YOU, be it an extra shoulder to carry the 16’ telephone pole, a knee to step on to lift yourself over an 8’ military wall, or just a hand to help you out of a mud pit – we will be there!
This is our fourth year running and we still continue to evaluate every race to see what portion of the course is successful and what needs improvement. We are in constant communication with expert OCR athletes to find ways to improve the course. More important, we are open to all participants’ feedback in order to optimize their experience.
Serious OCR racing can be a family event without costing serious cash. All spectators are FREE. You can move around the course to and capture their family in action. Due to popular request, kids can now run with parents during our events. Kids ages 13 and older can run the full course during any heat, with the exception of the elite wave. Kids 12 and under will have a special “Junior Mudders” heat at 12:30 with the option to run with their parent(s). The Junior Mudder heat will have the option of a 1 mile course or the full 4 mile course with some modified obstacles.
$100 prize will be issued to the FASTEST MALE and the FASTEST FEMALE in the following four age categories: (this is for the ELITE heat ONLY) (Winners must be presented at prize ceremony following the last person crossing the finish line)
16 - 25, 26 - 35, 36 - 45, 46 +
After each run, you can participate in the after party, filled with beer, food and local bands. Here you can recap, review, and above all relax after a great day of mudding.
Kids 12 and under will have their own heat at 12:30. The course will be modified, as well as have a 1 mile option or the full 4 mile option. A parent or guardian must run the course with the child.
The ABF Mud Run is a timed event. We want you to complete each obstacle in its entirety or at the very least, attempt to complete it before walking around. We will help as many mudders get over, under and through each obstacle. You will never know what you are capable of if you don’t push yourself and we will be there to help and support you in any way we can.
Free bag check
Most Mud Runs are run with teams or teams made up of individuals that have registered, and ABF lets you register as a team or individual also. BUT as an individual, you can run by yourself.
