Mud Gauntlet Expect a day that will challenge every muscle in your body! Run, crawl, sprint and splash through the Mud Gauntlet, Broome County’s first-ever hardcore outdoor obstacle course. This 5K layout winds around 40 acres of natural terrain in which you'll encounter many natural and man-made obstacles. The NEWBSANITY Mud Gauntlet is a very tough and challenging course but offers options on many of the extreme obstacles. You’ll get to choose your challenge by taking either the Risk and Reward path or the Tried and True path. This allows for the seasoned athlete and the first-timer to compete together, side-by-side.

Course Description:

The NEWBSANITY Mud Gauntlet is a very tough and challenging course but offers options on many of the extreme obstacles. This 5K layout winds around 40 acres of natural terrain in which you'll encounter many natural and man-made obstacles. There are 27 obstacles.

We have numerous awards. Best dressed, most enthusiastic, traveled the farthest, different age categories - you will receive the most awesome custom award you have ever seen!

100% of the proceeds will benefit the Southern Tier AIDS Program.
This is a challenging fun run which was created by Jarrett Newby. Jarrett has competed and finished first (in his age category) at the World's Toughest Mudder. He is a contractor with over 20 years of experience. This is an amazing venue - you won't believe your eyes - Jarrett pulls out all the stops!
Local firemen/women will be there to hose you down after the event.
