Race Start Time:
First wave starts at 11:00am and every 20 minutes after that until everyone is on the course. Participants will ride chairlift to starting line 15 minutes prior to their wave.

Course Description:
The race route will cover 5K of mountainous terrain with a bunch of obstacles thrown in along the way. The course routing for the 8th Annual Dirty Dog Dash will take competitors up, down and across the slopes of Boyne Mountain Resort as well as over, under and through man made obstacles such as mud pits, sand hills, wall climbs and much, much more.
Aid Stations:
Water stations are set up on every mile. Medical personal are on-site during event.

Individual Divisions (plaque & Boyne Gift Card)
Young’ens: 35 & Younger (male & female divisions)
Old Enough to Know Better: 36 – 49 (male & female divisions)
Still Hangin’ in There: 50 and beyond (male & female divisions)
Team Divisions (plaque & Boyne Gift Card)
Litter: 4 Person Team (all 4 times count)
Wolf Pack: 10 Person Team (the best 7 of 10 times count)

Lookin’ Dog Gone Good (best costumes), Dirtiest Dog (self explanatory), Spirit of the Dog (team having the most fun).

Spectators:
Free for spectators. Party at base area is open to all!
Parking:
Plenty of parking in skier lots and Avalanche Bay overflow.
Post Party:
We'll have live music from the Chris Calleja Band to keep the party rolling long after the leftover mud from your personal conquest has dried.
Other:
A portion of the proceeds from this year's Dirty Dog Dash will be donated to Freedom's Finest Outdoors enabling Veterans to experience outdoor activities.
Team:
Teams or individuals are welcome to race! There are award for fast teams and teams that have the most fun! No limit on team size, in the past we have had teams as large as 70 people... if you're team is that size, call ahead for a special rate.
