Gelt Gladiator The picturesque Gelt Woods that follows the River Gelt through a deep Sandstone ravine forms the amazing location for the new Gelt Gladiator event. Take on 20 GLADIATORS, 30 obstacles and an amazing trail run through the wood before the muddiest imaginable finish on the terrain used for regular Motorcross meets, makes Gelt Gladiator a tough test of grit, determination, stamina and team work.

Course Description:

Cumbria is a challenging place! Hadrian's Wall is built here and you will run through the quarry used to chisel the rock that built Hadrian's Wall. Romans were here in 100 AD... Gladiators are here in 2021!
This event is a mud obstacle event that takes place over 2 days with the 10 mile, 10k event & 6k on the Saturday and the & 3k junior course on the Sunday.
We have the very best, professionally built obstacles at Gelt Gladiator. Our health & safety team sign these off prior to the event taking place. All obstacles are achievable but nothing is compulsory. You can walk around any obstacle if you so desire.
Our 100 metre slide is the very best slide in the UK Mud Run calendar so come and give it a go; Other obstacles include: Avalanche, Barrell Carry, Foam Pit, Ice Plunge, Jail Break, Military Cargo, Monkey Bars, Tunnel Of Fear, And The Crawl.""

Teams make up 90% of our GG sign ups. We receive entries from sports groups, business teams or just friends wanting a challenge and above all a laugh!
