Mud Endeavor Welcome to the Mud Endeavor, Florida’s premium 5k obstacle/mud run! Mud Endeavor is set at the edge of the Withlacoochee State Forest. With breath taking views and over 100 feet in elevation changes, this course will challenge even the most fit competitors. Waiting for you will be 15 challenging obstacles, sand, clay, gumbo, and a ton of mud! The Mud Endeavor grounds are so tough they are used to train the Florida National Guard and the Black Hawk Helicopter pilots. Think you can handle the course the Military trains on? The Mud Endeavor course is conveniently located on 50 beautiful acres off of Highway 50 in Brooksville just less than a mile from I-75, with plenty of hotels and restaurants right off the exit. Plan for a day of running, mud, slides, rockin’ music, beer and more! This race is fun for the whole family!

Course Description:

Mud Endeavor is headed back to Castle Canyon for another awesome 5K mud obstacle race.
 This course location is something you have never experienced in good ol’ flat Florida. Welcome to Castle Canyon! This premium course resides on over 100 acres of untouched valleys with unbeaten trails and breathtaking cliffs. Castle Canyon is the site of a rock mining operation that took place in the 1920′s. Rocks were needed for materials to build roads leading to St. Pete, creating a big rock quarry giving us the “Canyon” part of the name. There is an old castle that lies back in the thicket of the property which was used for rock distribution and sorting when the Mine was in service. Now just the remains are all that is left, thus the name, “Castle Canyon”. All in all, they have left us with one impressive place to host a Mud Endeavor event. This run will be full of high elevation, innovative obstacles, beautiful wooded trail runs and unbelievable scenery.
