Race Start Time:
The first heat is at 8:00 AM and heats continue until 2:00 PM, with a short intermission after the noon heat.
We may add more heats until 3:00 PM if necessary.
Heats can contain up to 90 runners or more, but most are between 30 and 75 runners.
The 8:00 AM heat is traditionally our most competitive heat.

Course Description:
Gladiator Dash is 2.3 miles of flat terrain.
Our 12-14 obstacles are of easy to moderate difficulty and are all challenge by choice, meaning that participation in any obstacle is entirely up to the participant and options to avoid obstacles are available.
Obstacles include a 20-30 yard swim, an 8 foot wall, an ice bath, a mud bath, and more.
Aid Stations:
We will have aid stations at headquarters, as well as 3 paramedics on site.
Water and various refreshments will be available at the finish line.
For the swim, lifeguards will be present, as well as canoes and floatation devices available for participant use.
Spectators:
There is a designated spectator area at the end of the race with refreshments and seating.
The spectator area has a great view of the mud pit, as well as scenic Lake Bryan.
Parking:
Parking will be $5 at most, but we are working on a deal to get free parking.
Carpooling is encouraged.
Other:
All money raised from One Army Gladiator Dash will be donated to Still Creek Ranch, a local home for boys and girls from crisis situations.
Although anyone can participate in the race, either as a participant or a spectator, we do require all participants to be at least 18 years of age.
All obstacles are challenge by choice, so this is a great race for both novice and advanced runners alike.
