Course Description:

Short and long courses both start at the top of the hill (chairlift ride is provided) and finish at the bottom of the hill. Both courses follow the rolling hills trail along the ridge top. At the end of mile 2 the two courses split. The short course heads down hill, then follows rolling terrain to the finish line. The long course keeps following the ridge line then goes down and then up a series of very steep climbs using ropes, until it meets up again with the short course following rolling terrain to the finish line. There are a total of 9 obstacles for the short course, 10 for the long course. Obstacles include: lily pads - upside down inner tubes that you step across and try to stay above the water; bumper zone - mudpit below and hanging foam cylinders that try to knock you off your feet; log jam - a canal filled with muddy water and logs on top, you choose to climb over or under; tube crawl - squeeze through a long dark tunnel; slalom - run down hill around the gates like a ski racer; hill climb - slip and slide your way up and over a giant mound of dirt/mud; hay stack - climb up and over; mudslide - a giant slip and slide that finishes in a huge puddle of mud.
