Ragged Mountain Scuttle The course offers a variety of natural and man-made obstacles over a 5K course with plenty of elevation gain. Whether you’re racing as a team or an individual, we promise this will be an event you’ll be happy you signed up for. The majority of the 5k is on the Kuller trail, an intermediate level trail. The trail does has some steep pitches, and climbs 500 feet. The course will begin and end directly behind the snow bowl lodge.

Course Description:

Ragged Mountain Scuttle is an obstacle course race on the Kuller trail at the Camden (Maine) Snow Bowl. Runners/Walkers will enjoy the ragged terrain and a beautiful view at the top.
The course offers a variety of natural and man-made obstacles on a trail with plenty of elevation gain. Obstacles along the course will include: A hit wall, Tippy toes, Tire tracks, Battle of the century, Load bearer, Get a trip, Belly roll, among other crazy obstacles.

Aid Stations:

Paramedics will be present on site.

Spectators:

Spectators will be free to participate.

Parking:

Parking is available at the Snow Bowl Lodge, at the base of Ragged Mountain, as well as along the road leading to the Snow Bowl.

Other:

All the proceeds go to supporting the 4th Grade Learn to Ski Program at the Snow Bowl and One Community Many Voices.

Team:

Teams to be in groups of 5 or More.

Kids Race:

If the little one loves climbing, jumping and rolling like a Ninja, the children’s course is a must-do experience. It takes place at the base behind the Snow Bowl lodge.
Cost is a $5 donation for unlimited use of the course. It’s within view from inside the lodge.
Kiddos earn a medal for completing the course.
