Urban Mud Assault Prepare yourself for Cicero’s most exciting and ONLY OCR (Obstacle Course Race)! Five kilometers of Urban and Mud Obstacles such as police barriers, vehicles, tires, mud pits, low crawls, walls, and a little water await those brave enough to take the challenge. But you don’t have to do it alone. The Urban Mud Assault is a team/SOLO competition, you and your partner or you and another runner taking the challenge may need to work together to overcome some of the most interesting challenges that we could come up with for our first OCR.

Course Description:

The course will consist of urban parking areas, swampy watery low areas and muddy low crawl on a pretty flat terrain.

Aid Stations:

There will be an on call nurse located at the registration area, a upto 3 EMT's throughout the course

Awards:

Not for this one but we will offer then at the next one.

Spectators:

Spectators are free, they are able to align around the front of the route

Parking:

Free!

Post Party:

Yes there is a post party, it will be located in the in the bar over looking an Ice rink.

Other:

A portion of the proceeds will go to the TACP Association, they are a not for profit organization that donates money to wounded and fallen battle field airman with in the TACP, CCT, and Pararescuse community's in the United States Air Force.
Some of the obstacles will change, as I just got word that the US AIR FORCE in Syracuse NY will be sponsoring the event.
There is a shower station in the fitness center that will allow for 5 individuals of each sex to shower at a time.
There is no kids race this year as we are trying this in a venue that has not had a race before, but we are planning for one next year.
We will also have a photographer on the premises to photograph individuals throughout the race.
You do not have to be able to swim in this event, the only water obstacle is about 24-36in deep.

Team:

We have Team building packages available at a discount price of 200.00 for a 4 man team and corporate packages available for up to 8 individuals at a rate of 360.00 for all 8 members.
