Course Description:
Whether navigating the 3.1 mile course as an individual or team, participants will be challenged as they race through 12+ obstacles and test their strength, agility, and stamina. Obstacles include; Rope crossing, Fire jump, Mud pit, Bear crawl, Cargo net crossing, 10 foot climbing wall, Balance beam, and Bucket carry among others.
Aid Stations:
We will have 2 aid stations on the course and water stops along the course. We also will have paramedics on standby.
Awards:
Awards will be given to the Top 3 Male & Female Overall finishers and the Top 3 M/F in the following age groups:
Ages 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61 & up and top 3 teams
Team awards and Age Group awards will be given out at the Awards Ceremony once the last finisher crosses.
No duplicate awards will be given and you must be present to collect your award, as awards will not be shipped out post-event.
Spectators:
All spectators are free and are welcome to come to the post party.
Parking:
Parking Space in each lot is limited, so please come prepared for a little bit of a walk. The spots closest to the start line fill up fast and some lots will close at 7:45 am for the race.
Post Party:
Come for the Run… but stay for some FUN. Clemmons Post-Race Bash (open to the public) an event for children of all ages. We have teamed up with Village of Clemmons to offer the 2021 Dirty Dozen 5K.
Obstacle Mud Run and Clemmons Post-Race Bash from 9:00am – 1:00pm which will include food trucks, Kid’s Zone, entertainment, beer pit, and so much more! More information coming soon!
Other:
Proceeds from the Dirty Dozen 5K Obstacle Mud Run will benefit people in the community and towards the Y innovative health programs benefiting cancer survivors, diabetes prevention, and other chronic disease programs.
Team:
Participants may register in teams of four people & enjoy the discounted prices.
Awards will also be given to the Top 3 Teams. For team awards, the four individual times of the team members will be averaged together to create one Team Time. Runners do not need to finish at the same time for their times to count. The average is calculated automatically when the last of the four team members crosses the finish line.
Kids Race:
The course is open to ages 7 and up.
