Course Description:
The ThunderDash obstacle course race OCR is a 5K trail run with about 25 obstacles that weave through a farm, some woods and an active rock quarry. Located outside of Comfort Texas with natural mud pits, 30 foot deep rock quarries to climb in and out of and much much more. The obstacles are man-made, nature-made, and of course a combination of both.
ThunderDash5K Fitness Challenge that has you complete a 5K trail run with “Fitness Stations” located along the route spaced about 1/2 mile apart. No Mud or Obstacles but still the great challenge that ThunderDash is known for. Expect a 5K course on well-worn and groomed jeep trails through coastal and bermuda hay fields with stations where you will have to complete basic “Boot camp” style calisthenics.
A combo of the two makes up the ThunderDash 10k challenge. Call it what you want….mob run, obstacle run, mud run, it all equals lots and lots of fun!
Many of the obstacles will encourage team efforts for easier completion so call your buddies and sign up today!

Clean water stations out on the course
Prizes:
Bragging rights for top 3 overall male, female and age groupers with racer provided picture on our website.
Spectators:
Spectators are Welcome! The more the merrier!
There will be trailer rides available for spectators to get the best vantage on the course.
Parking:
Parking is available. Bring $10 cash per car for parking.
Post Party:
After leaving it all out on the course; join the post race party and share war stories.
There will be a 70 foot blow-up obstacle for the future ThunderHeads not quite old enough to participate at the post race party.
There will be at least two food trucks with a variety of yummy post race comfort food for purchase.
Team:
Teams of 5 or more will be included in the team competition for bragging rights.
The types of teams can be anything from military, first responders, scholastic, corporate, fitness groups or just a wonderful crazy group of friends.
Kids Race:
Waves are open to participants aged 14 years and above
