Course Description:

The Indian Mud Run is a competitive OCR race covering over 6 miles of rolling hills, steep elevations, mud, canals and natural rock formations. This course will challenge you with over 75 obstacles, both man-made and natural. Register in Men's and Women’s Pro divisions or competitive Age Group Divisions.
The short course will bypass the most extreme obstacles but will still give you a great challenge. Short course racers are not eligible for awards, getting on the following years shirt or qualifying for the World or North American Championships.
The Chief's Challenge Multi-lap must do 3 laps of the long course to win an authentic American Indian made arrow. This is a very demanding challenge and only 30% of the challenge racers did all 3 laps last year. You MUST wait to start your second lap until after the last competitive lap at 11am and you must be finished by 5pm.

Aid Stations:

Water, bananas and beer at the finish line. First Aid station at Finish Line and volunteer firefighters at various locations along the course.

Awards:

We will award placers through the top 5 minimum. We are working on some very special and exciting awards. Pro racers ARE NOT eligible for age group awards.

Spectators:

Spectators are free and there is a great viewing area of the end of the course and the finish line. Other than those designated areas, spectators should not be out on the course as it will only add to congestion of the runners.

Parking:

Parking will be $10 per car and $20 Preferred Parking will be available, but will fill up fast.

Post Party:

Food Vendors will be on-site, and there are plenty of options for other food within a couple of miles drive into town.

Other:

Our local museum has offered us exhibit space and we are working on the first ever history of Obstacle Course Racing exhibit. We already have a few major races willing to contribute. We are looking for any race memorabilia to put on display if anyone has something they want to share. Our museum is a very nice one and has other exhibits you won’t want to miss.

Team:

At Indian Mud Run we don't only care about the biggest team. We truly appreciate every OCR team's loyalty, but we also think it's important to recognize who has the most “BAD ASS TEAM” The Indian Mud Run team competition will determine the best and most “BAD ASS TEAM” by finishers. Teams can be as big as you want but only the top 7 placers (PRO and/or AGE COMPETITIVE) count towards the team score. This is geared towards established teams, but we will allow people to put all-star teams together. See Team Challenge rules in Team Challenge page.
