Course Description:
Run the Ranch is uniquely located 30 minutes east of Dallas at Sabine Creek Ranch, offering over 300 acres of varying terrain with natural creeks, hills, and muddy wetlands. The course is designed in order for you to go at your own pace. Whether this is your first mud-run or you’re a seasoned tri-athlete, you’ll find this race exciting and challenging. There will be 15-20 obstacles over the 5k run that will be both fun and muddy.
Aid Stations:
We will have 2 aid stations on the course with fruit and water, as well as one additional aid station at the finish line with fruit and water. We will also have paramedics on standby.
Awards:
Spectators:
Spectators are free and encouraged. There are designated viewing areas, and they are more than welcome to enjoy live music, food, a corn maze, and bounce houses.
Parking:
$5.00 cash parking, on site. Carpooling is recommended to help with traffic flow.
Post Party:
We'll have a corn maze, bounce houses, food, and live music. This will be a family friendly event!
Other:
Our race will be giving part of the proceeds to local charities.
The 5k race is open for ages 14 and up, kids course is ages 7-13, and the mud pit is for 6 and under. Swimming is not required, but there are shallow creek crossings throughout the course. There will be a shower/changing area.
Team:
Teams are 4-8 people and they receive a $5.00 discount when registered as a team.
