Race Start Time:
Depending on the 1,000 registrants and when they sign up, we will begin the first heat at 9:30 AM and will do waves of heats in 15 minute intervals following until the last heat begins.

Course Description:
The course will run between 3-5 miles and will have a number of difficult and exciting obstacles that participants will have to navigate (hay bales, mud, barbed wire, etc) in some of the most beautiful and hilly terrain in Central Iowa at the Wildwood Hills Ranch.
There will be up to 18 obstacles runners will encounter that range from barbed wire crawl, suey switchback, mud pits and a pig chute (running through a barn with live pigs).
This is not a timed race, instead it's a ""see if you can finish this race!""
Aid Stations:
Paramedics will be on stand by and we will have plenty of water stations provided along with the opportunity to purchase pork chops on a stick with beer and other beverages post event at the after party.
Spectators:
Spectators can come for free and view the madness that is The Wild Boar Challenge!
Parking:
Parking is free however we do recommend carpooling as it saves more room for others. Parking will be ample and available right on site near the race registration at Wildwood Hills Ranch.
Post Party:
Beer, Iowa Hawkeyes football game televised (assuming you finish in time to see kick off), Iowa Pork Producers Association is providing pork and Palmer's Deli is also providing some food. Rumor has it, there may or may not be a greased pig contest at the after-party and it's not a party unless there's music, right? Wild Boar Challenge has it covered.
Other:
The money from this race will go to local central Iowa charities that help serve and support underprivileged youth such as Wildwood Hills Ranch. We will cap the participation for the first 1,000 registrants so register today!!! This event is not timed but is still very much a challenge!
We have a waiver form that needs to be signed upon registering on our website and you will need to bring a photo ID with you to the registration table to ensure you agree to the terms and conditions before receiving your race packet.
Team:
We welcome teams of any size! Sign up the same way online and since we have one of the VERY best rates in town for a charitable race, we will still charge the $45 for each participant.
