Course Description:
The Sand Pit is a ten kilometer obstacle course that tests your physical and mental abilities like no one else can. At The Sand Pit you will experience what you are truly capable of and how valuable teamwork is to accomplish a daunting challenge. At The Sand Pit, you can expect these three things…
Fellowship is necessary to complete the course. Helping your fellow man is not only required, but fulfilling. Alone we can only do so little but together we can conquer so much.
There is more in you than you believe, and we want to show you just how much.
This is not a race, it is a challenge. The reward you get is the challenge itself as well as helping those who need it. So just be yourself and have fun, and there’s an after party as well!
Aid Stations:
The Sand Pit will have 2 first-aid stations (one at the start/finish area and one on the course) as well as 2 roaming personnel on the course.
Awards:
The awards include: (but are not limited to), best dressed individual and team, best jump and best before and after.
Spectators:
Anyone who wants access to the course or event will need to have a spectator pass to enter.
Spectator tickets are sold at the door on the day of the event for AED 10.
Post Party:
Post parties will always have food and drinks for sale as well as music and a blast of a time!
Team:
Team members are not required to finish the course together. While we place an emphasis on teamwork and fellowship, it is each team member’s decision how they want to finish run.
