The R3 OPS, is a 3-mile mud run/obstacle course designed for manly men and lovely ladies who are wanting to get out, have a great time with friends, become motivated, get muddy, AND to challenge themselves. All of this while.. supporting local causes. The course has the casual athlete in mind but has added on challenges for the athletically inclined. Teams are encouraged!! Get your friends, co-workers, family members, mom and dad, or anyone together and plan for an event that you will have an amazing experience at!! The “R3” represents the Refined, Rugged, or Rogue. Refined is for all the lovely ladies. Rugged is for all the manly men. Rogue is for the crazy mudders. Ops is short for options, which is what this mud run has! The logo (two arrows crossed) is a Native American symbol representing friendship. What would life be without awesome friends? This 5k mud run/obstacle course will feature three miles of fun, mud, obstacles, and laughter. Parts of the course will require determination and, of course, a belly crawl or two! From hay bales, tires, tunnels, hill climbs, rope repels and pulls, to running through a creek and on the pipeline… you never know what you are going to run into! Also be prepared to test your balance! And can anybody say mud slide???????

The Extreme Challenge area is for the first 1,000 people who regsiter. There will be 6 EXTREME obstacles including the featured obstacle ‘The Jumping Bars from American Ninja Warrior’. Other obstacles include a 12ft climbing wall, pyramid, 20 ft rope climb, Tarzan, and The Inverted wall. Jathon Cox, mud run expert and builder is coming from Las Vegas to give people pointers for the run, extreme challenge area, and obstacles.

Aid Stations:

There will also be R3 Staff at every obstacle overseeing the participants and their safety.

Prizes for top male and top female will be awarded around 12 at the pavilion in the entertainment area.

Participants who register for the Extreme Challenge get a membership for the month of May free at NEPA Crossfit (a $105 value).
Can’t get down? Just GO AROUND! All participants will have the option of going around any obstacle that they do not want to participate in.
The organizers of the R3 OPS believe in giving back to our community. For our inaugural event, the spectator donation of $5 dollars with the parking fees will go to LOCAL charities in the NEPA region. We are encouraging all the participants and teams involved to help raise money for these charities. If you would like to recommend a local non-profit charity in need of some help, please contact us via the contact page.
