Course Description:

The 5K Challenge race site consists of rolling hills and farmland nestled between the Green Mountains of Vermont and the Hudson River in southern Washington County, New York and is less than 40 minutes from Albany, Saratoga, Glens Falls and Bennington, Vermont. The flourishing countryside property encompasses 230 acres of active farmland and woodlands with several streams and ponds scattered throughout.

The challenge: To negotiate and conquer the natural terrain and obstacles set up on the year-round course constructed at the farm.

The course involves five kilometers of rough terrain with a dozen military inspired obstacles including water crossings, mud trenches, cargo nets, barbed wire fencing and much, much more scattered throughout.

Aid Stations:

1 aid station on the course.
EMTs at the finish line
Real COUNTRY BARBECUE at the finish!

Free for spectators. Access to Country BBQ for $15.

Plenty of parking on site. Driving distance from major metro areas but in a beautiful rural area.

Post Party:

Great music and BBQ afterwards.

Our charity is Saratoga War Horse. Saratoga WarHorse is a confidential, peer-to-peer, equine assisted experience that goes beyond therapy and beyond horsemanship to create a natural release for the emotional turmoil that our veteran population is left to deal with.

There is a kids race at 11:15a and 12:15p for $5. All kids receive a finishers medal and all entry fees go straight to the event charity.

You can race as an individual or as a member of a team. Teams require a minimum of 3 people to be scored.
