Course Description:
Course begins on a paved road then enters a tall grass prairie area where most of the man made obstacles are set up. They include a belly crawl, hay bales, agricultural tile to crawl through, tires, and a 6 ft wall. The trail descends 150 feet to a stream lined trail system, and then back up the hill to the starting line.
Aid Stations:
Paramedics will be on site.
Awards:
Awards for fastest male and fastest female, as well as fastest all-around.
Spectators:
Spectators are welcome along any part of the course.

Parking available in the park.

This is a fundraiser for the Friends of Ft Defiance group who volunteer to maintain the trails in the park. Ft Defiance is a 191 acre state park near Estherville, Iowa. Named for the fort built to protect resources during the Dakota War of 1862, Ft Defiance is home to some species of plants found no where else in the world.
