The day is hosted by the knight cruisers car club; a firemanÕs jubilee, was created to thank the volunteers for all of their hard work throughout the year, raise awareness to the public, create a fun day of events for families to join in the celebration.

Course Description:

The race will take place on park roads, grass areas, fields, some wooded sections. Participants will experience, mud pits, balance challenges, hills, holes, climbing, crawling, carrying, dragging, water, dirt, and mud. Participants must follow course markings. Course is partly flat with some hills.
The challenges will be based on letting the participant feel the physical demands of a firefighter. A detailed format of the run obstacles will be posted on the fire department webpage by April 1, 2018. You will see, pack carries, tire balance, wall climb, through the window, water pits, mud pits, hose drag, hose throws, CPR cycle station, floor crawls, body drag, hill climb with gear, and mudslides, more information to come

Aid Stations:

EMT's will be at the course in multiple locations, stations of fireman throughout the course. Paramedics on standby. Fruit, snacks, & water will be furnished.

Awards:

Medals will be awarded for Overall Male 18+, Overall Female 18+, Overall Male 13 to 17 and Overall Female 13 to 17. 1st, 2nd place Medals will be awarded.

Mystery prizes will be awarded from sponsors

Spectators:

Spectators are FREE to attend the event! Come and enjoy!

Free parking! A boot drive donation is encouraged.

4TH ANNUAL VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS JUBILEE FESTIVAL!

THE FIREFIGHTERS MUD RUN BENEFITS ALL PARTICIPATING VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENTS FROM ARMSTRONG, CLARION, JEFFERSON, & VENANGO COUNTIES IN WESTERN PA. Distant Area VFD is the host/coordinating department.
A fun beginning to a great day, wear old clothes and shoes, you will be dirty.
A fire hose shower and changing station will be provided.
Contact the park to rent a campers space, if you would like to attend the entire festival weekend.
A full day of events created for your enjoyment. Register your children in the firefighters camp & receive a ride wrist band for the carnival rides.
