FIT Panther Challenge We are happy to announce our inaugural Panther Challenge race. This event will help us raise money to provide scholarships for our summer leadership camps as well as funds to offset the cost for law enforcement and first responders to use our facility.

Course Description:

Race starts in the Sebastian River state preserve and runs 1 mile to the Florida Tech Challenge course where you will encounter 8 elements from the air assault course and 9 obstacles from the marine obstacle course. Variety of intermediate obstacles will be place along the route. Total course is 3 miles running through flat, sandy, grassy terrain.

Aid Stations:

Aid station with paramedics at start/finish as well as one at the midpoint with water. Fruit, water, Gatorade available at start/finish.

Awards:

Award ceremony at the end. Overall male/female winner-fleece. Male/female under 40, 1st, 2nd, 3rd - Mug. Male/female 40 and over, 1st, 2nd, 3rd - Mug

Spectators:

Spectators are free! Limited vision area

Parking:

Parking is free for all participant cars. Others have to pay a fee of $5.

Post Party:

Food and drinks will be available after the race.

Other:

Minimum age is 12. Very primitive environment. No showers or permanent water source at start.
