Mud Dog Run This is a new concept on our current Mud Dog Run Series. This 5K course will still have over 16 obstacles ranging from mud pits, cargo nets, climbing walls and other grueling obstacles to have fun running though and over. The spin is that there will be Zombies all over the course and at obstacles trying to pull flags off the runners. The object is to finish the run with at least one or more flags to stay alive at the end. If the runner at any point during the run does not have any flags left, they become a Zombie.

Upon finishing the Zombie infested run, participants will be welcome to join the End of the World party to have some great food, drink Flying Dog beer and listen to multiple bands and DJs with over 8 hours of music! You will not want to miss this!!!

Course Description:

Mud Dog Run is a fun, high intensity, obstacle course run around one of Frederick, Maryland’s most beautiful farms.
Mud Dog Run will encompass 5 Kilometers of very tough terrain.
The course will contain obstacles such as, climbing walls, cargo nets, mud pits and much more! This race is not for the faint of heart.

Aid Stations:

Water stations will be available.

Spectators:

Spectators are free.

Parking:

$10 for each car space. Please have cash ready!!
Carpooling recommended!

Other:

Mud Dog Run has partnered with the local Rotary Club of Frederick with their international project.
This project is to help donate money to Lifetime Wells for Ghana. It is an amazing story about one Rotarian deciding in 2006 to start drilling wells for villages in Ghana that do not have a running, potable water source. The villagers traditionally had to walk miles each day, just for a bucket of water. Since 2006, Lifetime Wells for Ghana has drilled over 1000 wells in Ghana and Tanzania. More information on this project can be found at www.wellsforghana.org.
In 2014 with your help we were able to donate over $4000 to this cause. Our contribution was part of a grant process in which raised over $70,000 and was able to drill 14 wells in Ghana. Our Goal again is to raise and donate $4,000, which is the amount to drill one more well in a village in Ghana. Please help us get the word out by informing your family and friend to come out to run, or even come spectate and support this great cause.
