Race Start Time:

Registration starts 8am.
Children ages 5 to 12 race starts 9am, with adults race in waves starting from 10am to noon

2.5 Miles

Organizer:

Into the Mud Challenge Fun, muddy race with obstacles and mud pits all throughout the course.
It is 2.5 miles long that the kids and parent will enjoy.
It's put on by the University of Southern Maine students, profits go to the University's Sport Management Scholarship Fund.

Course Description:

Mostly flat course 2.5 miles long, with 8 obstacles varying in size, fun and amount of mud, ending in a large mud pit, followed by half a mile back to the finish at the Gorham Middle School. Kids race ""Okie Dash"" is shorter, only one mile long and has smaller obstacles

Aid Stations:

There will be two water points on course. Staff and volunteers at every obstacle. Paramedics will be on site, as well as local police

Prizes:

A variety of prizes including best dressed

Spectators:

Spectators may watch for free, however they must comply with requests from race officials for safety reasons

Parking:

There will be parking on site, with provision for off site parking and a shuttle, should registration be higher than initially anticipated

Post Party:

There will be a DJ as well as a variety of food vendors

Other:

The race is not timed.
There is a Kids race for children ages 5 to 12, for safety reasons.

Team:

Teams of 4 get a discount and are encouraged to race together to help each other with obstacles
