Race Start Time:

Waves start at 9:00am. Participants are divided over several start waves, which start every 20 minutes. This allows for a smooth flow on the course.

Mud Masters The roots of Mud Masters Obstacle Run events lie in Amsterdam where Mud Masters introduced obstacle running in the Netherlands in 2012. In a short period of time participant numbers grew to over 10.000 per event.

All-round fitness, teamwork, hardship and fun. This is what you need to complete the challenging Mud Masters course, which is designed by Marines and inspired on the most challenging military obstacle courses in the world.

Mud Masters is a challenge. Finishing together is more important than winning. Completing the course is a goal to train for alone or with your (sport) friends, family members or colleagues. It’s hard work, but the reward of finishing together is worth it!

Men and women with leg-prosthesis (and even a wheelchair!) completed the course, no short-cuts! They inspired thousands of participants and spectators with their perseverance.

Course Description:

There is a 6-, 12-, 16-, 21- and 42-km trail. Everyone to Mud Masters so the challenge; from novice runners to die-hards! Not sure which challenge the best for you? On our preparation page you will find more information about the input level per distance.
Our event location in Biddinghuizen is for real adrenaline junkies. At the water park in the start and finish area, you’ll find the most spectacular water obstacles in Mud Masters history. The surrounding forest, which the course runs right though, will top off your goosebumps level. Each kilometer that you run flat out will bring you one step closer to that delicious cold finish beer on the happening festival grounds!

Aid Stations:

Drink stations on the track + extra drink station at finish marathon participants

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome to encourage and support the Mud Masters. In the start-finish area a number of spectacular obstacles are visible and there’s music, food and drinks. However, please don’t get in the way of the participants, and follow the instructions of the Course Marshalls.

Parking:

The parking area will open at 08:00. Keep 8 euro cash in pocket for a parking day ticket.

Post Party:

The best way to extend that euphoric state you are in after your run is to stay within that unique Mud Masters atmosphere. This does not happen when you go home early to sit in front of your television. Our advice: Team up with your friends once more, have a few pints, eat something, thank the Mud Masters that helped you along the way and sing along to the music. Let’s all enjoy the party!

Other:

Gear check (sporting bag wardrobe) available. Only closed bags, no loose items.
Changing rooms and finisher's washing alley will be available
Minimum age is 18
