Course Description:
Our Mud Pack II is back and promises to be bigger and muddier. Run, walk, slide and crawl your way around our 5 or 10 mile muddy obstacle course in the beautiful grounds of Ashridge House. With flat and hilly terrain, mud mounds and pits, skips and water holes, this fully-marshalled course encounters all things muddy!
Aid Stations:
There will be Water stations around the course and a bottle supplied at the end of the challenge. Paramedics will be on stand-by for the duration of the day. The course will be fully-marshaled, meaning that volunteer marshals will be standing around the entire course to support participants.
Prizes:
There are prizes awarded for the best individual fundraiser, and the best group fundraiser.
Spectators:
Spectators are allowed into the event village for free, but there are heavy parking restrictions in place. They will not be able to roam the course for health and safety reasons but parts of the course are being designed with spectators in mind- potentially with spectator participation... watch this space!
Parking:
We are currently working on a parking strategy that best suits everyone involved with this event, so please bear with us and watch our website for updates. In any case, we encourage car-sharing!
Other:
This is a Charity event organised by, and in aid of, The Hospice of St Francis.You don't have to have done any training to complete this course, as it can be walked and all obstacles can be avoided if necessary, however you may want to check out the video from last year to see what is entailed and decide for yourself!
Team:
You can sign up as a team or as an individual. Everyone in the team needs to sign up individually, but all must put the same team name down on the registration form in order to ensure you're in the same wave.
