Race Start Time:
Kids 2k & 5k start at 1:00pm and 2:30pm. 10K & 5K waves start at 1:20pm and 2 released each 20 minutes after. Family 5K starts at 2:30pm. 10K & 5K waves restart at 2:50pm.

Course Description:
Run or crawl (your choice!) your way around the grounds of Hesleyside Hall, the stunning backdrop for Mestival, our 10km and 5km routes will meander through this incredible part of the Northumbrian countryside on a course that will test your physical and mental strength. Don’t worry though, we still have a lot of smiles crossing the finish line. The 10K course starts next to the Mestival Village so all your friends and family can watch you set off on your adventure! The route meanders up through ancient woodland onto Dunterly Fell where you will be greeted with incredible views looking east and west up the North Tyne valley. The route then heads back down through more woodland, pine forest and pastures towards the finish area in front of Hesleyside hall and your adoring fans
Aid Stations:
We have multiple water and isotnic stations on route, a full medical team placed throughout the course and at the start/finish area including ambulances. A full Mountain Rescue team will also be patrolling the entire course.

£3 for Mestival village ticket in advance and £5 on the day

The Mestival Village is situated on grazing fields in the grounds of the picturesque Hesleyside Hall. Whether you have just flown round our Adventure run, spectating or just dropping in, We’re confident you’ll enjoy what we’ve got to offer!
Sit back and relax on our hay bales and deck chairs in the summer sun, Beverage in hand listening to our series of live musicians. Feeling peckish? We’ll be providing you with a variety of street food style options for you to sink your teeth into. The village will also contain a large number of independent suppliers including interesting and fun goods, activities to keep you occupied during the day and other quirky stalls we think you’ll enjoy. You can find all involved parties below, this page will be constantly updated with new partners so be sure to come back and keep checking to find our latest acquisitions!
