Organizer:

The Burner The Burner is a 7 mile obstacle course and mud run taking place at Big Game Raceway and the surrounding wooded area.There is a combination of rough terrain, natural and man made obstacles that runners will have to work through. The event was created in memory of Jimmy Marucci, who was recently lost to cancer and a portion of the proceeds benefit Akron Children's Hospital of the Mahoning Valley.

The Burner will also feature a day long festival with life music, food, drinks and free activities. Confirmed activities include team sand volleyball, tug of war and tire tosses with more to be announced.

Course Description:

The Burner features a combination of running on groomed dirt tracks, wooded trails, water crossings and natural hills.
The course contains roughly 30 obstacles ranging from man made walls, monkey bars, and scaleable halfpipes, to natural obstacles like water crossings, mud bogs, and grueling Burner hills.

Aid Stations:

On site EMT/ambulance.
3+ water/aid stations spread during course.

Spectators:

$10 spectator fee entry covers parking and insurance.
Spectators are able to access any area of the course

Parking:

Parking is covered in every pre-registration, participant or spectator.
The $10 spectator fee entry covers parking and insurance

Other:

The Burner supports Akron Childrens Hospital.
Must be at least 12 years of age to participate with a guardian.
Must be at least 16 to participate with signed guardian consent.
Must be at least 18 to participate with personal signed consent.
The event is not timed.

Team:

Welcome to race as a team, can create or join a team at signup.
