Race Start Time:
Start waves will be every 15 minutes.
When you register, you can choose from one of three time buckets (Early Morning 9:30 am – 10:00 am (Competitive Waves), Late Morning 10:15 am – 11:15 am or Early Afternoon 11:30 am – 12:30 pm).
Only the Competitive Waves are eligible for awards.
The awards ceremony will take place at 1:30 pm.

Course Description:
Think Hunger Games meets Survivor meets the Amazing Race
Teams of 2 enter the “Arena” with a map.
Each team chooses its own course and the obstacles to be tackled. Some will be physical, some will be mental. ALL will be challenging.
Victory goes to the team that conquers the most obstacles in the shortest amount of time.
Maximum time in the Arena: 3 hours
You can expect some of the traditional obstacles like walls and ropes, but that’s about it. We’ll have plenty of new and different physical and mental challenges that will require good strategy and teamwork. While we’d like to keep most of it secret until event day to keep the adventure at a maximum, here’s a little preview.
The course will have approximately 15-20 challenges/obstacles. Of these, some are physical, some are mental and some will be a combination of both. While we don’t want to give too much away, here are some examples:
Creek Crawl
Take Aim (Slingshots)
Rope Maze
Tangram Puzzle
Disc Toss
Lego Challenge
Finish Wall
Aid Stations:
We will have two water stations on the course. Paramedics will be on standby.
Awards:
Only the Competitive Waves are eligible for awards. The awards ceremony will take place at 1:30 pm.
Spectators:
There will be a festive atmosphere for family and friends who are not participating. There will also be some areas specifically good for spectators to view certain challenges.

Post Party:
We will have a festive atmosphere for racers and spectators during and after the event with music. We will also have food and beverages available for purchase (pending permits).
Other:
We are now allowing kids to race with a parent! This is a great way for the whole family to experience the event together.
All racers will be given an electronic bracelet that will keep trek of their time in the Arena as well as the obstacles they completed.
Team:
The event is for teams of 2, no solos allowed. Please let us know if you are looking for a teammate and we will do our best to pair you up with others looking for a teammate.
