Course Description:
The courses is wooded and mildly hilly.
The Extreme Obstacle takes two loops around a 2 mile course with obstacles: 1) truck tire carry, 2) tractor tire cross, 3) flat/incline monkey bars, 4) mud crawl, 5) culvert crawl, 6) decline monkey bars 7) pallet drag, 8) ditch run, 9) tire wall / rope climb, 10) balance beam over mud pit, 11) over/under, 12) long ditch run, 13) mud hill, 14) tire run, 15) ladder jump, 16) super high hurdles, 17) truck tire carry, 18) spider web, 19) 9 foot wall, 20) hall hill
The Basic Obstacle is the same as the Extreme but only one loop and omit the truck tire carry.
The Family Fun Obstacle: 1) tractor tire cross, 2) flat/incline monkey bars, 3) mud crawl, 4) culvert cross, 5) tire wall/rope climb, 6) ladder wall, 7) balance beam over mud pit, 8) tire run, 9) ladder jump, 10) super high hurdles, 11) spider web, 12) 9 foot wall, 13) hay hill, 14) sprint to finish
Aid Stations:
There will be 3 refreshment stations along the course with water. Also, there will be medical personnel on standby.
Awards:
There will be an awards ceremony for each race.
Spectators:
There is no cost for spectators and they are welcome to roam the course freely as long as they don't interfere with the race.
Parking:
Parking is free and is located in a parking lot adjacent to the race site
Post Party:
There will be vendors on site after the events selling food and beverages.
Other:
This event is the fall fundraiser for the Augustine School. Augustine School is a Classical Christian School in Jackson, TN. Founded in 2001, we offer a unique educational experience in Jackson-Madison County that is Biblically-based, Gospel-centered, and Classically-informed.
Our event is timed.
Our Family Fun Obstacle Course has a recommended minimum age of 7 years old. We will also have a play area with a kid's ""obstacle course"" available for all ages (assuming parental supervision).
Team:
Our Extreme Obstacle Course race is made up of two person teams. The Basic Obstacle and Family Fun Obstacle Courses can be run as teams or individuals. The teams on these two races are welcome to be varying sizes.
