Beast of the East The Beast of the East Mud Run returns to JB MDL on Saturday, September 13. Presented by 87FSS, this open-gate event for both civilian and military runners from across the nation pits their endurance skills against a dirty military-style 10k run through rough terrain and 20 challenging obstacles! The mud, the dust and the tears accent a grueling day of human endeavor.

Course Description:

This daring and endurance filled military 10K runs through rough terrain and 20 plus challenging obstacles!
The mud, the dust and the tears accentuate a grueling day of human endeavor.

Prizes:

There will be prizes for the best costumes on the course.
1st and 2nd place best dress team.
The costume contest will be prior to the 3rd heat and runners interested in participating will sign up for this heat.
All other heats are encouraged to dress up.
Costumes are allowed and encouraged. Remember that this is a family friendly event that is being run on a Military Installation

Spectators:

Spectators may accompany any participants as long as they are in the same point-of-contact as a registered runner.
All spectators 18 and over must have valid form of ID to enter the gate

Post Party:

Once the race is completed runners will have Free Fuel Food provided to them.
Spectators and runners alike will have food, snacks and beer available for purchase.

Other:

No competitors 12 years of age as of 09/26/2015.
Runners Ages 12-17 must run with sponsor.

Team:

5-Person Teams are encouraged!
