Course Description:
Competitors are randomly allocated into separate men’s and women’s heats before the event and competition runs as a knockout. Fifty percent of the runners that start each heat will progress through to the semi-finals. And 25 percent of the runners that start each semi-final will progress to the finals. There will be flags in the ground at the end of the finish line – if you manage to grab one, you will secure your place in the next round!
