Obsmonge OBSMONGE is an obstacle course race that will have participants climbing over, going under and charging through obstacles of all shapes and sizes.
We will have several heats, including Competitive (Cash Prize for top three Men/Women finishers), Individual Open Class and a Family Event.
We will also have a Team Challenge that will pit local businesses, clubs and groups against each other in a four person relay race.

Course Description:

The obstacles will consist of various climbing walls, pummel horses, balance beams, tires, tubes, crawl throughs, climb overs and a rope challenge.
The well marked course will wind through the campus of Sacred Heart and will utilize both man-made and natural obstacles.  Each lap of the race will be ¾ of a mile in length and will have at least twenty five unique stations to test your speed, strength, agility, and endurance.
Check out the event descriptions on the sign up page to find out how many laps will be required for each particular heat.  For instance, the competitive heat will be four laps which equals 3 miles and 100 obstacles!!!
This is NOT a mud run.  There is no water element to this race (unless of course it rains).  The obstacles range in difficulty from moderate to 'kind of tough', but none of them are bonsai insane.  We will have volunteers at each station to monitor the race to help ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment.
Whether you are a hard core endurance freak, a weekend warrior, or a newbie to the sport, the OBSMONGE has something for you.
