Course Description:
The race length is 8km, Grail Quest has a large medieval event village with live weaponry displays and battles, have-a-go archery and music, viewing areas for spectators.
You’ll have to attack “Battle Of Wessex” with the courage of a medieval Knight, conquer “Agincourt” and trample, crawl or swim through the trenches.
They change the course and obstacles every year, to keep you returning Knights guessing.
Grail Quest is a medieval themed obstacle course race based on the Somerset levels, taking place over approximately 8km.
With 50+ obstacles ranging from dragging a cart to climbing the City Walls, you can be sure to expect some surprises and challenges along the way.
Aid Stations:
There are water stations at the event, and fully-trained medics will be in attendance.
Spectators:
Spectators are encouraged to come along and support those taking part.
There is an epic viewing area from where friends and family can enjoy the action.
Parking:
Onsite parking is free
Post Party:
There will be music and delicious food from Skewered Bristol and scrumptious refreshments from Harry's Cider.
Team:
Groups are encouraged
Kids Race:
“Mini-Knights” race is a Kids Race for 7 to 15 year old.
They will complete around half the distance of the adults race and circa 90% of the same obstacles… a proper kids race.
