Course Description:

Our races are designed to bring out the competitiveness in the runners. The courses are challenging without being over the top. We utilize the local topography to design a very challenging 5k course adding difficult man made obstacles, trails, and plenty of mud. This is one “tuff” 5k course spread out over 140 acres combining single-track trail on DCR’s Rehoboth State Forest and off-road terrain. With over 18 natural and man-made obstacles throughout, be prepared for anything including hay bale hurdles, mud pits, water, massive boulders, rock climbs, tunnels, monkey bars, and anything else we can throw at you.

If you’re looking for a great event and a fun way to spend the day, you’ve found the right place. Bring some friends, run the course, have some laughs, and when you’re done, hang around for food and drinks. This should not be missed.

Our team has several years of experience in cross country running, trail running, ultra marathons, and road running events. The owner of the company has been involved in amateur, semi-pro, and professional sports for over 40 years. Our background is based on competition and we do our very best to provide both a competitive and fun course that aims to satisfy each runner.

Aid Stations:

There will be two water stops located along the course. There will also be water provided to runners for free at the finish line.

Prizes:

There are cash prizes for top finishers in the Elite Heat only. These are announced after the race.

Spectators:

There is a $5.00 spectator fee for anyone not running the race. This will be paid upon arrival.

How to get in free as a spectator? Bring two non-perishable food items that will be donated to the Bethel Community Development Rehoboth Food Pantry and the spectator fee will be waived. We had over 21 boxes donated for the May 18th event, let's try and top that!

Kids 14 and under are free.

Parking:

Parking is $5.00 per car and is available at 20 Francis Street and a site 1/2 mile down the road. A shuttle will run back and forth from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Post Party:

Music, food and drinks will follow each race. Meal tickets can be purchased with online registration for $5.00. The meal ticket includes: two small pulled pork sandwiches, red roast potatoes and coleslaw. If you would like a meal after the race, the ticket must be purchased with online registration only. There will be no meal tickets sold on race day. Be sure to purchase tickets for friends and family too when signing up!

Challenges will be setup at the vendors again. Stick around after your race as we will be announcing giveaways!

Other:

You must be at least 18 years old on race day to participate in Tuff Scramblers. I.D.'s are checked at registration.
Bag Drop will be available at registration. Please do not leave valuable items in your bag as we are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items!
A portion of our registration fees will be donated to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation.

If you register as a team, please note that the team captain is responsible for notifying everyone of the sign-up time. The earlier times fill quickly, so please make sure everyone signs up before the time slot is closed. We will make sure all team members run at the same time, unless the time slot is full.
