The first heat will start at 9:00 A.M. on the rock wall. Following heats will start as soon as space on the wall is available.

Copper Medallion Oktoberfest Race Are you tough enough for this inaugural, multisport mud-run adventure race? You can participate as an individual or a team of any size. All you have to do is advance the 'copper medallion' through each leg of the race seccessfully. Shirts and finisher medals will be given to all individuals who finish. Form your team now and start training for your leg of the race so you don't miss out on the adventure.

At the completion of the race there will be an Oktoberfest celebration with food, bounce houses and music for participants and public. If you don't participate, come out and cheer on the participants or be a volunteer!

Course Description:

This course will have elevation gain and loss depending on the leg you are participating in.
Leg 1 - Rock climb to the top of the rock wall, rappel down, cross the Rage Cage monkey bars.
Leg 2 - Mountain bike down to the corrals (part of path of off-road).
Leg 3 - Run to the river (off road trail), cross the river to the boat launch
Leg 4 - Take boat/tube/etc... up to the put-in area (1/4 Mile), float/paddle down the river (1/2 Mile), take boat/tube/etc... out of water and back to boat launch (1/4 Mile). (Two people would make this leg easier.)
Leg 5 - Run up to corrals (off road trail).
Leg 6 - Do mud-run obstacles (two people would make this leg easier).
Leg 7 - Bike up to Sumitomo Park (part of trail off road).
Leg 8 - Complete agility course.
Leg 9 - Conquer the Artic Freeze and Wall of Water then slide into the finish line.

Aid Stations:

There will be two aid stations positioned throughout the course. Locations still to be determined.

Spectators:

Spectators are free to roam and watch the participants. There is no entry fee for the spectators.

Parking:

Parking will be available at the Community Center (Starting Zone) and there will be parking available at Sumitomo Park (Finish Line-Celebration).

Other:

The minimum age for this event is 6 years old. We encourage people to create teams to have people participating at each leg of the course to share the challenge. Individuals are welcome to take on the challenge and complete the course themselves. We will have a big after party at the finish line for the participants and public.

Team:

Teams are welcome to participant in the race. Each individual team member will need to sign up to participate in the event.
