Race Start Time:
We encourage every participant to arrive an hour before their scheduled wave. This will give you enough time to stop by packet pickup, check your gear (for $10), and get a stretch in before hitting the terrain.
Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. and the festival opens at 8:30 a.m.
Heats of 100 participants will begin every 15 minutes. The initial obstacles accommodate many individuals and thus, no bottleneck is expected.
The first two heats of the day, 8:30a for 10k and 8:45a for 5k, are reserved for the most competitive athletes. There is no additional charge for this heat, however, it does allow for our serious competitors to have optimal course conditions.
The Tribal Extreme post-party lasts until two hours after the last wave. Plenty of time to enjoy the in mud, sweat, food, and beer.

Course Description:
This terrain is tough! Every different kind of terrain you can image will be experienced -- hills, water, mud, rocks, fields, woods, etc. We're trying to keep the mud to mid-calf level to accommodate the squeemish!
More than 30 obstacles, although, a few will be specific to only the 10k or the 5k while some are shared. Continue to watch our website and Facebook page as we announce each obstacle!
We've added a 5K Wilderness Run due to interest from the community. This is a non-obstacle mud run / terrain run.
Aid Stations:
Yes, both land and aquatic paramedics will be onsite.
We know how hard you work on the course so we'll treat you to fuel and refreshments around the course and upon finishing.
Awards:
Shine bright during our award ceremony as we give away cash prizes and merchandise to our Top 5 Men and Top 5 Women competitors for each race (5K and 10K).
We will also have awards for different age groups.
Prizes:
Lots of prizes at the Tribal Extreme Mud Run! We will have best dressed Team awards -- among others.
Spectators:
Entrance to the Tribal Extreme festival area is free and open to the public. Cheering on participants and taking pictures in the festival and spectator viewing areas are highly encouraged. Please note that spectators will not be allowed on the course, however will be able to view select obstacles from the festival area.
For preferred viewing, you have the option to purchase a Preferred Spectator Pass online for $20 (or onsite for $25) that will allow optimal viewing areas throughout the course and at the finish line.
Outside food and drink is prohibited, but there will be plenty of options available for purchase. Personal tents and umbrellas are also prohibited. For safety purposes, only registered participants, event staff and approved media will be allowed on the race course.
Parking:
Parking will be available onsite the day of the event. Very visible directional signage will guide you to the appropriate locations to park. Parking will cost $10.
Oversized vehicles (think -- RV's and school buses) will cost $30.
Post Party:
Party all day with us! We’ll have great music, entertainment, and plenty of food and beer, and drinks to refuel you! Food trucks will be cookin’ up a storm or you can purchase a pass to the VIP BBQ for $20 (includes lunch and two drink passes).
We'll also have an all-day festival with some of our great community vendors showcasing their work and products!

The minimum age to participate is 14 years old.
This is a chipped time event.
The Tribal Extreme Mud Run is an exclusively charitable event with 100% of proceeds being returned to better our community.
You can join in on making a difference by selecting to host your own fundraising page (available during registration)! Should you be interested in participating, you will be included in awesome challenges with great prizes and recognition during the event.

Team:
There is an option to sign up a team during registration. Your group can be private and require a password or it can be open to the public.
Make sure to take advantage of the opportunity to dress your tribe alike from our Shop. All items purchased for team attire will be available for pick-up with registration
