Course Description:
You have a choice between three distinct race difficulties: Challenge (Hard), Fierce (Harder), and Legend (Hardest). All three of these difficulties span our 5k course, and the obstacles get tougher as you choose a harder difficulty.
CHALLENGE - You and your Tandem teammate will work together to complete 10 unique and fun obstacles. The Challenge difficulty requires the perfect amount of cooperation and teamwork. Challenge participants are expected to be able to perform an 8 second bar hang, 6 push ups, and 12 sit ups.
FIERCE - Looking for more of a challenge? Fierce competitors will have their athleticism, coordination, and teamwork put to the test. Strategy and physical fitness are required to make it through these Fierce obstacles. Fierce participants are expected to be able to perform 10 pull-ups, 20 push ups, and 30 sit ups.
LEGEND - Are you an obstacle race pro? These Legendary obstacles will push the limits of even the most experienced obstacle racers and athletes. You will need to be insanely strong and capable of going into beast mode at a moment’s notice. Legend participants are expected to be able to perform 20 pull-ups, 50 push ups, and 80 sit ups AT A MINIMUM.
Awards:
There will be awards given out to the top 3 Legend teams participating in elite heats.
Spectators:
Spectator attendance is free! Invite your friends and family to come watch you tackle some challenging obstacles.
Parking:
Parking is $10 per car. Or sign up to be a volunteer and receive a free parking pass for the weekend!
Post Party:
Our course is uniquely designed so that all of the action surrounds our party area, complete with food, drink, music, and games.
Other:
In order to participate in a Tandem Race event, you must sign up with a partner.
Bag check is no charge.
Challenge competitors do not have access to Fierce or Legend obstacles.
Fierce competitors have the option of switching between Challenge and Fierce obstacles if a Fierce obstacle looks too difficult. Fierce competitors do not have access to Legend obstacles.
Legend competitors have the option of switching between Challenge, Fierce, and Legend obstacles if a Legend obstacle looks too difficult.
Team:
Tandem Race is the world’s first two person obstacle race. Only teams of 2 can participate!
