The Story
BONEFROG was created by Navy SEALs to challenge, build and inspire participants to become better athletes and recognize that they can do anything they set their minds to, while enjoying the camaraderie and teamwork usually reserved for active duty Navy SEALs.

The Course
With at least 30 military-style obstacles on courses that range from 3-9 miles, the course will test everyone and leave no one unscathed. We attempt to place an obstacle about every ¼ mile, so your running ability alone will not carry the day. You must be functionally fit to succeed here. You will get muddy. You will get beat up. You will be exhausted. But you will finish. Did we mention sand? You will get to know what it means to be “wet and sandy” just like we were at BUDS. As Navy SEALs, we know what tough is – and we don’t mean Harvard.

Team or Individual
Our event will foster camaraderie, period. Form a team ahead of time or link up with others when you get here. This is a great way to challenge your friends and create lasting bonds.

Family Event

As Navy SEALs we have been forced to spend a great deal of time away from our families. As a result, whenever we can, we include the entire family in all that we do. BONEFROG offers fun and activities for all ages! Let the kids come watch you race and then let them loose on our Tadpole kids course where they can play in the mud and race on scaled down obstacles just like mom and dad.

Course Description:

With at 36+ military-style obstacles spread out over 8-9 miles, the course will test everyone and leave no one unscathed. You must be functionally fit to succeed here. As you run through the woods you will be amazed that you are in New York City. You will get beat up. You will be exhausted. But you will finish.

Aid Stations:

Aid stations will be spread out throughout the course along with EMS personnel. Water and food stations will be along the course to include the finish line.

Spectators:

Spectators are $10 per person paid at the gate. Spectators have full run of the event are and are permitted into the after party.

Post Party:

We have always subscribed to the “work hard, play hard” mentality and our after party is not to be missed! Music, beer, special challenges…SEALs know how to have fun. Join us!

Other:

Our charities include the Navy SEAL Foundation, The 31Heroes Project and One Team One Fight
Minimum age is 14. 13 and below can run the kids course.
We do race timing for all racers.

Team:

Navy SEALs never work alone and neither should you! We offer a new for 2014 Team Discount Program that rewards large teams with post race refunds based on the final team size at the time of the event. Team Discounts begin at the “Boat Crew” level with 7 members, which earns $10 off per member. The next category is the “Platoon” which is for those teams with 16 or more people, each receiving $20 off. Our final and largest team discount is for the “Troop” sized team of 38 or more, for which each member will receive $30 off! Get up, get moving, gather your team and GET AFTER IT!
