The Blitz Blitz Events started The Blitz obstacle course race to provide kids a fun and challenging way to get fit. Not all kids will become varsity athletes at their schools, but everyone recognizes the need to move and exercise to stay healthy. The Blitz is for all kids between 9 and 17, and yes, the parents of participants may also run in the event. We have selected The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Western Reserve as our charity partner as we all strive to make a difference in providing youth development programs for at-risk kids in the greater Akron area. We want kids and their parents to make good choices about eating and exercising and adopting that as part of their daily lives.

Course Description:

The Blitz is a fun-filled, challenging obstacle course race for kids between the ages of 9-17. 
There will be 10 mega-cool obstacles scattered throughout the 2 mile course that will test kids fitness, strength and determination. 
But most of all it will be a lot of fun.
Run it on your own, run it with friends, or run it with your parents. 
Come conquer The Blitz!

We have selected The American Diabetes Association as our charity partner as we strive to bring an awareness of this disease and the steps you can take to minimize its impact. 
Making good choices about eating and exercising are a lifetime pursuit and the sooner we adopt that as part of our lifestyle will assist in putting us on a road to living a life of wellness.
