Race Start Time:

First Wave runs at 9:00 am and every 15 minutes following.

Distance & Course Length:

5K (ages 12 and up), 3K (ages 7 and up), 1.5K (ages 5-6).

War Horse Warrior Challenge The Canadian Cancer Society proudly presents the War Horse Warrior Challenge Brant-Norfolk's first mud run and obstacle course.

War Horse Warrior Challenge at Southern Cross Equestrian Facility is stretched out over 5km of rolling hills, horse pastures and dense woodlands—only the bravest will have what it takes to finish the warrior challenge!
This 5km extreme run demands courage, strength, resilience and mental toughness to overcome uncompromising obstacles as you sludge through dirt and mud all in the name of a good cause. Participants may choose to run solo or part of a team.
Join others at this exciting and inspiring fundraising event. Brave the elements and overcome many obstacles as you race through the course with one common goal— to beat cancer and FIGHT BACK!
There will be mud, sweat and tears…

Course Description:

Not your typical Ski Hill run but there are cliffs, hills, fields, ponds, mud pits and many natural obstacles. The course will consist of a minimum of 30 man-made and natural obstacles for all fitness levels. The 3K Run is a shorter less challenging course designed for beginnners and youth. Runners will enjoy modified obstacles from the 5KM Challenge

Aid Stations:

St. John Ambulance onsite. 3 Water Stations placed through out the course. Water provided at the end of the race

Awards:

Fundraising Awards will be presented through the day! Top Individual Fundraiser, Top Team Fundraiser and Best Team Spirit

Spectators:

Spectators are free to roam the course or view from our dedicated spectator area.

Parking:

Parking onsite with a short 1-2 min walk to the race site. FREE parking, but donations accepted. Accessible parking available with displayed permit.

Post Party:

Food and Beverages avialble at vendor trucks. Dance party with DJ. After party is open to all!

Other:

This is a fundraising event with all donations and registration fees going directly to the Canadian Cancer Society to fund ALL types of cancer research, and provide local support services to cancer patients and their families.

Team:

Registering as a team will guarantee you run together, no maximum # of members. The more the muddier.
