Race Start Time:

Race begins at 9am.
Waves released every 30 minutes until all participants have completed the course.
There are no elite heats.
We try to limit the waves to 20 people.

Cross Country Chaos The concept of Cross Country Chaos came about while brainstorming ideas for raising money for charitable organizations. We wanted something that would be a fun challenge and give people a sense of accomplishment while giving back to those in need. Chaos is basically giving participants and their friends and family a way to enjoy the challenge of the country terrain and then getting to enjoy live music, family, and friends afterward with a drink in hand! We are conveniently located for participants ranging from Topeka, Lawrence, Manhattan, Wichita and Kansas City.

Military will receive $10 chaos cash that can be used to purchase food or merchandise the day of the event with their military ID. We do not offer refunds.

Course Description:

It is natural country terrain.
There will be 15 obstacles.

Aid Stations:

Aid stations setup throughout the course, paramedics at the event and we offer a free drink after you have completed the course but we do not have fruit.

Awards:

We do give out medals following the event to the top 3 male and female finishers in 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and plus 60.

Spectators:

Spectators do get in free to the event and post party.

Parking:

Parking is $5 per vehicle.
Parking is close enough so spectators can walk to the event.

Post Party:

We will have a DJ at the post party.
There will be food and drink vendors at the post party.
There will also be a raffle at the post party with lots of different prizes that will benefit the Osage County Community Foundation.

Other:

A portion of the proceeds from the race will go to the Osage County Community Foundation.
Our event is one of the few in Kansas that is chip timed.
We do have an obstacle that requires minimal swimming, as long as you can tread water you will be fine.
We do not have a gear check.
There will be showers to wash off with but we do not have a changing area.

Team:

We do have teams at the race and we will give a prize to the team with the best time.
We do not have discounts for teams or any special scoring.
