Course Description:

Looking for an endurance event with substance? 24-hours of GBC is designed to allow the participants to experience a day in the life of a Green Beret. Regardless of which mission set you have chosen or being offered (Clandestine Operations, Urban Assault or our Survival & Evasion), we will expose each participant to real training and real missions, wrapped up into our endurance format.

Phase I consists of mental and physical tests unlike you have ever experienced before. Pass the selection phase and you advance to phase II, REAL Green Beret Training by REAL Green Berets. Upon the conclusion of phase II, you will advance to phase III and become a member of a team. You and your detachment will be given a REAL Special Forces mission that you and your fellow warriors MUST accomplish. Are you ready to experience the life in a day of a Green Beret?

Phase 2: Awesome, you have passed A&S, earned your dog tags, so what’s next? This interactive and engaging segment of the program will cover some basic tasks Special Forces students learn over the course of 12 months of training. Each attendee can expect to receive training on several of the following skill sets: Small Unit Tactics (stuff Rangers and Green Berets use on every mission), Survival Tradecraft, Target Exploitation, Close Quarters Combat, Escape & Evasion techniques, Booby Traps, Land Navigation, Rope Bridges & Rappelling are just a few of the skills you will be exposed to. Don’t quit and you will move onto phase III.

Phase 3 - Hell yeah! Now you have received some training, its time to put those new skills to work! Imagine the opportunity to deploy to another country as a representative of diplomacy to assist a foreign government in restoring peace and democracy, or to just go destroy some stuff. Teams will be accompanied by real Special Forces veterans (GBC Cadre) as “advisors” as you embark on a journey only seen in the movies. The teams will be configured into a Special Forces Guerilla Force or commonly referred to as our “G” force. You will be given an opportunity to plan, rehearse and execute a real special operations style mission. As the journey unfolds, the teams will have to adapt to an ever changing scenario that will require sound judgment, a bit of uncertainty and definitely a lot of excitement.

Added to this event will be a custom award given to the one candidate that has demonstrated the attributes becoming of a Green Beret, based on the whole man (or woman) philosophy. This award will be determined by his/her peers.

GBC does NOT charge for spectators. All spectators are welcome to follow their favorite team along the course, take pictures and encourage them during their more challenging times throughout the event.

Parking cost TBA
