No Ego Challenge Brace yourselves for The No Ego Challenge; a series of gruelling and tough ‘mud’, trail and ‘Head torch’ challenge runs that are designed to push you to the max. Not for the feint hearted, the No Ego Challenge runs will test your stamina, strength and agility as your adrenaline forces you to the No Ego Challenge finish line.

From start to finish, No Ego's military assault style obstacles will have you dashing, barricade-climbing, mud-crawling and rope climbing. Our grueling course forces you to test your physical toughness and mental endurance.

Leave your Ego at home – our challenge races are designed to push your boundaries...you’re a No Ego winner if you can reach the finish line!

Course Description:

The Dalby Forest head torch race will be the first of our Winter No Ego Challenges in Winter 2020. The 5 mile course takes place on the tracks and trails through the mighty Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire. After listening to your comments regarding bottlenecks, we have decided to use the Race #2 night Runner course, which is basically the original course, but clockwise. It offers a much more open start with no narrow trails for the first 1/2 mile and allows the runners to spread out more.
This race will be on a combination of single narrow tracks, fire breaks forest trails and linking gravel trucking linking everything through the forest. Head torch race is fun and challenging; don't forget your sense of humour. You will get dirty, so be prepared.

Other:

For insurance purposes the minimum age for this event is 16 years old on the night.
If you don't have a head torch they can be purchased from stores or online for around £15.00+ or just use a hand held torch if you wish. Head torches WILL NOT be on sale on the night of the event.
If the entry maximum number is reached prior to the event, we reserve the right to close registration early. There will be no participant injury etc. cancellations refunds within 10 days of this event. In exeptional circumstances tansfers to another event can be made.
