Course Description:

Ruckus events feature industry leading obstacle innovation.

The Heater & Challenge courses feature over 20+ large-scale obstacles. Some are more difficult than others.

It is expected that participants complete each obstacle; all we ask is that you try.

No one will be disqualified if they are unable to complete a certain obstacle.

Purposely avoiding obstacles in order to get a better finish time is not allowed.

All obstacles must be completed during the Champions Heat.

Aid Stations:

There wil be 3 aid stations for the 4 mile and 1 for the 2 and kids mini.

Awards:

Ruckus events have something for anyone aged 2-72. For those looking to compete, runners are separated into 4 Divisions.

Men's Open
Men's Master (45+)
Women's Open
Women's Master (45+)

All ages are as of race day. The first person to cross the finish line wins their division, and will receive a Golden Helmet

The last heat of the day is the Champions Heat. This is where Champions are crowned with the Golden Helmet.

You must qualify to run in this wave. The top 10% of each division (Men's, Men's Master, Women's, Women's Master) will be eligible to compete in the Champions Heat.

Your time will be measured against everyone in your division not your individual wave. Participants who qualify for this wave will run the same course a second time.

Prizes:

No prizes except for the Golden Helmet for the Champions Heat.

Spectators:

Ruckus courses are always built with spectators in mind. As a result, nearly the entire course, including the biggest obstacles, is visible to spectators. The high-energy spectator areas also feature a Health & Fitness Expo, Beer Garden, and Food Trucks. Reserve your spectator pass online for $10 and join the party! Children under the age of 10, and registered participants do not need to purchase a Spectator Pass.

Parking:

There will be a $10 charge for parking for each car so please remember to car pool. You will receive specific parking instructions a few days before the race. Make sure to follow those directions and please be respectful to the rules and surrounding site locations.

Post Party:

We offer a post-race party with music, beer, food and vendors.

Other:

We have a changing area for post-race, and the event is timed. Minimum age is 2 years old for the Kids Mini Ruckus. If volunteers have a group of 25 or more, Ruckus will donate $500 to your organization. This is a great way to raise some funding and have some fun at an exciting event.

Team:

There is nothing better than running the Ruckus with your friends. As a result, participants have the option to create teams during registration.
What better way to experience some added camaraderie than climbing a 14-foot cargo net with friends or family?

Your team can be as small or big as you’d like; there are no restrictions. You will not be timed as a team. While teams can run the race together, everyone is timed individually.

Team members must coordinate start times with each other if they want to run together. We recommend teams sign up early, as wave times sell out, and once they are closed, they are closed.
