10:00 AM first heat, heats every 30 minutes to 5th heat at 12:00 PM. Sixth heat at 12:30 for family fun run.

NBVC Mud Run As an annual event, the NBVC Mud Run is a unique opportunity for the general public to compete against some of the U.S. Navy's finest. The obstacle course portion was designed by the U.S. Navy's Fighting Seabees and includes tunnels, pits, slides, rope crossings and more. Individuals and Teams are welcome.

Course Description:

The obstacle course was built by U.S. Navy Seabees stationed here at NBVC and includes a flat land run transitioning into the obstacle course. There you will be challenged by tube crawls, over-under logs, hill climbs, tires, balance logs, an A-frame climb, wall climb, cargo net climb, more logs & tubes, underwire crawl, ropes over a pond, water obstacles, and plenty of mud. New for 2020 is the addition of colored powder stations throughout the run course. Going through the color is optional.

Aid Stations:

Aid stations on course with large medical tent in the mud & obstacle field. Water and hydration stations on course as well at the finish.

Awards:

1st, 2nd, 3rd place, award medals for both men and women for competitive 10:00 AM heat. No age group awards

Spectators:

Free admission for spectators with a designated viewing area above the course for optimal viewing. Spectators are welcome to participate in the after party

Parking:

Parking is FREE for all with a short walk to the start/finish.

Post Party:

Photo booth, music, and food vendors for participants

Other:

No showers available. Valid ID, registration and proof of insurance required to enter base. Victoria Gate open 9:00 AM for public access to base. Event phone number 805-982-3120.
