Race Start Time:
First wave will start at 1pm, waves will start every 10 minutes until approximately 4pm. 30-50 people per wave. Elite waves will go first followed by open timed.

Course Description:
4km of sand, grass and rocks. 25 awesome obstacles.
Set against the backdrop of magnificent Coolangatta and Kirra beaches on the iconic Gold Coast of Australia, Beach Warrior will be the most unique and beautiful obstacle race course Australia has ever seen.
The race will start at the northern end of the park adjacent to beautiful Coolangatta Beach. Four obstacles will greet participants as they head south through the park before running onto the sand in front of the Tweed Heads and Coolangatta Surf Life Saving Club.
Participants will make their way through a zig zag course up and back in the soft sand before a lap on the water’s edge, taking on ocean obstacles including the waist deep wade and water weighted carries. Participants will then run north next to the groyne and over onto Kirra Beach.
Seven more obstacles including the monkey bars and 2.5m wall climbs will now challenge the weary runners before they head back into Coolangatta.
Competitors will then have the unique opportunity to run the final 100m through the Coolangatta Gold finish chute and the heroic elevated finish arch, an experience normally reserved for Olympic triathletes and professional Ironmen and Ironwomen.

Spectators are free! Come and watch your spouse, friend or child smash through the course.
Parking:
There is limited council parking in the area, we recommend carpooling as it will be busy!

Minimum age of 12 on race day.
All proceeds go to Surf Life Saving Australia to help protect our beaches.
You will get wet, but do not have to be able to swim.
You must wear shoes.
Arrive 1.5 hours before your start time to check in, warm up etc.
Team:
We have both teams and groups. A team can only be entered in the elite category, 4 racers, your times will be averaged. Registering as a group will ensure you race in the same wave, groups over 10 receive a 10% discount, groups over 20 get 15% off!
